Dr Hannah MacDougall
Dr Hannah Macdougall is the Senior Advisor Community Programs and Campaigns at Victoria State Emergency Service. As part of her role, Dr Macdougall has played a pivotal role in shifting training programs, resources, and culture from community education to community engagement. As part of these changes, Dr Macdougall has drawn upon behavioural science and evidence-based strategies, combined with a collaborative approach to foster connections.
Dr Macdougall is a La Trobe alumna, having completed her PhD in the areas of sport and well-being. Dr Macdougall is also an elite athlete, being a dual Paralympian, bronze medallist, previous World Record Holder and she has represented Australia on an international level since 2001 in numerous international, national and state competitions in both swimming and cycling.
