About Katie Moulton
Katie joined the NSW SES as a volunteer 2008, then in 2012 she became a member of staff working within the Community Engagement Team. Katie is passionate about working with communities to design unique strategies that address risk and include community participation. Katie has a broad range of experience across emergency management and in multiagency operations. More recently her passion for community development has meant that a lot of her spare time is spent in the pacific working on projects or as a volunteer-tourist in disasters like Cyclone Gita the category 4 cyclone that impacted Tonga in February 2018. Katie is currently on secondment with Office of Emergency Management working in Community Recovery. Katie feels fortunate that throughout her career she has had opportunity to work right across the PPRR spectrum allowing her valued insight into the relationships between each phase and how to best navigate the communities journey through this process.
