About Andrew Gissing
Andrew Gissing is the General Manager - Resilience at Risk Frontiers. Andrew is best described as an emergency risk management, resilience, planning and facilitation expert. He has held senior executive roles within the NSW and Victorian State Governments, and now works extensively with organisations nationally to better manage risk and build resilience. Andrew is a regular invited speaker at Australian and International conferences and forums. He has been an invited author to World Health Organisation and International Red Cross and Red Crescent Society publications. Andrew is an Adjunct Fellow of Macquaire University and a lead researcher with the Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre.
