About Andrew McCullough
Andrew leads the NSW SES Volunteer Experience team, developing a future focussed, sustainable volunteer workforce. Andrew first joined the NSW SES as a volunteer in 2010, passionate about improving community resilience to disasters. After witnessing first-hand the challenges with engaging communities in their own disaster risk reduction, Andrew designed the Service’s new volunteering model, designed to mobilise communities during emergencies and build resilience through volunteering. Andrew holds Bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering and Commerce and a Masters degree in Disaster Management.
