About Liz Connell
Liz Connell has experience working at all levels of Government predominately in Local and State Government in South Australia with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, facilitation, collaboration and strategy development. Liz has worked in the Emergency Management sector since 2011 and currently works for the South Australian State Emergency Service. Liz has delivered programs in all hazards risk management, community engagement and communications. Liz has had a long term interest in climate change covering sectors of agriculture, community and disaster management. As an avid and passionate gardener Liz has experienced first-hand the need for adaptation and mitigation in a changing climate. Liz has Bachelor of Arts Degree, and Diploma in Project Management and is current doing a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management.
