About Dr. Lisa Fountain
Lisa is a research assistant on the BNHCRC Flood Risk Communication project, and is currently studying a Master of Research in the Department of Geography and Planning at Macquarie University. Lisa’s research experience includes conducting interviews, workshops, and analysis for projects on emergency management prioritisation for senior citizens, bushfire and flood fatalities, and project evaluation for NSWSES. During her undergraduate degree, Lisa was selected into a Macquarie University, Professional and Community Engagement team to conduct ethnographic research at the University of South Pacific, Suva, Fiji. She also took up voluntary roles, including mentoring high school students from refugee backgrounds, and a voluntary research intern role with Habitus International.
