Angela Cook
Angela Cook is one of the Senior Engagement Advisors- People at Higher Risk at the Country Fire Authority (CFA), where she focuses on improving fire safety for people most at risk in the community. Angela has over 20 years’ experience at CFA, leading large-scale engagement programs and projects across the state. Her work focuses on improving fire preparedness for people at higher risk, who are disproportionately impacted in emergencies.
This includes people with disability, older people, multicultural communities, and young children. She won the AFAC Fostering Resilient Communities Award in 2023 alongside Kelly Stoner and more recently the Inclusion and Diversity Champion Award in 2026 from the Emergency Services Foundation. Angela project managed the recent National Bushfire Safety for Workers e-learning redevelopment project.
