Bridget Tehan is Senior Advisor – Humanitarian Diplomacy at Australian Red Cross, working to provide advocacy, sector convening, and thought leadership at a national level. Bridget has worked for more than 15 years at the intersection of emergency management and community and social services, previously advocating for vulnerable and disadvantaged people in emergency management through her roles at the Victorian Council of Social Service. Bridget is also the founder of the Australasian Women in Emergencies Network which has grown to thousands of members across Australasia, creating the infrastructure for recognising and advancing the contributions of women to emergency management and disaster resilience.
