Bronnie Mackintosh is an award-winning firefighter, former Wallaroo, and the Founder & CEO of Girls on Fire Australia. With more than 24 years of experience in Fire and Rescue NSW, she has become a respected leader and advocate for diversity, resilience, and inclusion within the emergency services sector. Through Girls on Fire Australia, Bronnie empowers young women and underrepresented communities to explore pathways into firefighting and emergency services, creating opportunities that build confidence, leadership, and community resilience. Her programs have inspired participants across regional and disaster-prone communities throughout Australia. A passionate speaker and changemaker, Bronnie has delivered a TEDx talk on creating inclusive pathways into traditionally male-dominated industries, drawing on her lived experience as both a firefighter and elite athlete. Combining authenticity, energy, and real-world experience, Bronnie continues to inspire future leaders to break barriers, embrace challenges, and create stronger, more inclusive communities.
