Dr Bronwyn Lay is a lawyer, writer and advocate specialising in disaster law, systemic legal resilience and access to justice for disaster-impacted communities. She is Program Manager of Disaster Legal Help Victoria, a public-private partnership addressing the legal needs of disaster-impacted Victorians, and has worked across the community legal sector, international advocacy and government. She has published widely in academic, literary and industry contexts and serves on the boards of Sweltering Cities and the Climate Change Exchange. She also spent five years as a Sapeur Pompier in France.
