Connor Wilson
Connor Wilson is a highly accomplished aviation and flight test professional, combining deep technical expertise with a pioneering commitment to innovation in emergency services.
A 2020 graduate of the Empire Test Pilots' School, Connor is a Senior Flight Test Engineer with over 300 hours in RAAF aircraft and holds the distinction of serving as the first RAAF Test Director on the MQ-28A Ghost Bat Collaborative Combat Aircraft.
As founder of Firetech Labs, the evolution of Firetech Connect, Connor has led multiple dedicated flight test trials investigating shared airspace between crewed and uncrewed aircraft operating overhead active firegrounds. As well as supported national research
into Drones in Bushfire and the Emerging technologies and AI environmental Scan with ANU’s Bushfire Research Centre of Excellence.
Connor remains committed to advancing the role of emerging technology in the emergency services sector and is particularly excited to bring Heyden - ‘The Global Innovation Hub for Emergency Services’ to market.
