Dan Candotti
Mr. Candotti brings more than 40 years of senior-level experience in the electricity industry across Australia and Asia, spanning engineering, project management, business development, consulting, and technology. His expertise includes critical infrastructure technology procurement, operational strategy, business case development, systems architecture, contract administration, and the delivery of complex, large-scale hardware and software engineering projects. He has also managed multidisciplinary, internationally distributed teams and projects supported by the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, and JBIC/JICA.
Throughout his career, Dan has led the planning and implementation of major operational and real-time technology systems for transmission, distribution, and generation utilities across Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Macau, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and India. He has worked closely with utilities, technology vendors, consultants, and government stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle—from requirements analysis and procurement through testing, commissioning, and operational deployment. Dan also established Open Systems International’s successful Australian operations, building and managing a team of 25 engineers and project managers.
