With a trade background in fabrication and vehicle body building, he has spent his career working at the intersection of operational firefighting requirements, engineering, manufacturing, and project delivery.
David provides strategic leadership across major emergency service vehicle programs, overseeing project delivery from concept development through to operational deployment. His experience encompasses aerial appliances, pumpers, tankers, rescue vehicles, and specialist response platforms, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of both frontline operational challenges and the technical solutions required to address them. Recognised for his ability to bridge the gap between operational needs and practical engineering outcomes, David has worked closely with fire and emergency service agencies, industry partners, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and operationally effective vehicle solutions.
