Evie Kendal

Associate Professor Evie Kendal is a bioethicist and public health researcher at the Department of Biomedical, Health and Exercise Sciences, Swinburne University of Technology. Evie’s research interests include ethical dilemmas in emerging biotechnologies, epidemiology, and public health ethics. Evie heads the Ethical, Legal and Social Implications of Emerging Technologies (ELSIET) research group at the Iverson Health Innovation Research Institute, a registered unit of the International Chair of Bioethics. Evie is the author of Equal Opportunity and the Case for State Sponsored Ectogenesis (Palgrave, 2015) and Science Fiction and the Ethics of Artificial Wombs: Reproductive Futures (2025).
