Jack Piper
Climate Justice Lead,
ARC Justice
Jack is the Climate Justice Lead at ARC Justice, an advocacy and rights centre that provides free legal and tenancy support in north central Victoria. While coordinating legal assistance in disaster recovery, his role also has a focus on preparedness and prevention, including building collaborative relationships with emergency services, local governments, and community and health services in the region, delivering community legal education, and advocating for equity in disaster planning and recovery. Jack is passionate about supporting decision makers to understand the intersections of climate change and social justice, and the critical role of community service organisations in enabling equitable responses at a local level.
