Janet Pakan is an accomplished emergency management and land management leader with more than 30 years of experience across Victoria’s forest, fire and emergency management sector. Beginning her career as a Project Firefighter in 1995, she has held senior leadership roles including District Manager, Regional Manager, Deputy Chief Fire Officer and Program Manager Strategic Issues and Policy Integration. Janet is recognised for building high-performing teams, driving organisational change, strengthening governance, and fostering collaboration across agencies and stakeholders.
