Trish Dixon
Trish Dixon has lived in the Kiewa Valley since 1990 and has been deeply connected to the Mount Beauty community for more than three decades. A former local restaurant owner and operator, Trish brings a strong understanding of small business, community life, and the importance of local connection.
Since 2010, Trish has served as Manager of the Mount Beauty Neighbourhood Centre, where she has helped provide practical support, connection, and care for people across the community. Her work has placed her at the centre of local responses during challenging times, including floods, fires, and landslides.
Trish’s personal journey has also shaped her approach to leadership and service. After surviving leukemia and spending two years at The Alfred Hospital, she returned with a deep appreciation for resilience, compassion, and the power of community support.
As a presenter, Trish shares lived experience, local knowledge, and a grounded perspective on community strength, recovery, and supporting people through adversity. She speaks with warmth, honesty, and a genuine commitment to helping communities stay connected and prepared.
