Liza Gelt has extensive experience across the emergency management sector, working with agencies, communities, and national scientific organisations to deliver practical, outcomes-focused projects of national and state significance. She is the Principal and founder of Collaborative Consulting.
Her recent work includes leading the development of a National Flood Intelligence Capability Roadmap, establishing national requirements for Severe Weather Impact Prediction, and delivering the first season review of the Australian Fire Danger Rating System. She has also supported the development of the Transformative Scenarios in a Climate-Challenged World resources. She is currently leading work to identify national priorities for multi-hazard evacuation modelling.
