Monique Frison
Coordinator and head of the Secretariat,
Global Fire Management Hub
Monique Frison is the coordinator and head of the Secretariat for the Global Fire Management Hub. She began her professional career as a lawyer before joining the Canadian Foreign Service in 2000. Since then, she has worked in Canada and internationally on a wide range of initiatives, always working closely with a variety of partners to deliver successful outcomes.
Before joining the Fire Hub in 2025, Monique was a senior executive with the Government of Canada at the Canadian Forest Service, following appointments across several departments during a career spanning more than two decades. Internationally, Monique has also held positions with the United Nations’ International Organization on Migration and with Global Affairs Canada in Washington DC.
