Navid Mohajer

Dr Navid Mohajer is a Senior Research Fellow at the Deakin’s Institute for Intelligent Systems, Deakin University. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and brings extensive research experience in mechatronics and control systems. His work focuses on autonomous vehicles, motion simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop trials. As part of a multidisciplinary research team, he collaborated with the CFA on the "Tankers of the Future" project to advance fire trucks capabilities. He also leads major research projects in autonomous ground platforms, AI-driven navigation, and vehicle safety. His research advances resilient vehicular technologies for high-risk, complex, and unmapped environments
