Nell Reidy is a Research Fellow with the National Indigenous Disaster Resilience program at Monash University. She is a settler-descended researcher with a focus on trauma-informed and healing-centred community engagement. For over a decade, Nell has engaged in archival and collaborative research with First Nations communities across Australia and her work now focuses on ensuring First Nations experiences and priorities are reflected across emergency management systems throughout Australia.
