Nick Grant-Collins is a leader in emergency management and social impact, currently heading the Emergency Management, Community Safety and Compliance teams at Bass Coast Shire Council. He also leads strategic portfolios in homelessness and affordable housing, bringing a strong commitment to community resilience and equity. Nick’s career in Australia spans local and state government roles across emergency management, health planning, diversity and inclusion, child safety, smart cities, and housing. He currently serves as Chair of the Gippsland Regional Emergency Management Planning Committee and contributes to various sector leadership initiatives. Prior to relocating to Australia, he was an adjunct professor at the City University of New York.
