Rebecca Johnson
Project Coordinator, Disaster Preparedness and Response
,
COORDINARE - South Eastern NSW PHN
Rebecca Johnson holds dual roles at COORDINARE - South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network (PHN) as Team Leader, Business Support Services, and Disaster Preparedness and Response Coordinator.
Working across both functions, she brings administrative, systems and coordination strengths into disaster work, applying structure, clarity and process across preparedness, response and recovery.
Rebecca played a key role in supporting COORDINARE’s response to the 2019-20 Black Summer bushfires, coordinating information flows, tracking service impacts, and supporting primary care response activities during a prolonged and complex emergency. This experience shaped her ongoing focus on preparedness, scalable systems and organisational readiness.
She also led the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple Commonwealth-funded COVID-19 programs, including coordination of the general practice vaccination rollout, managing logistics, contracts, reporting and compliance across primary care and aged care providers at scale.
Rebecca later authored and led the implementation of COORDINARE’s Business Continuity Plan from inception to completion, including risk assessment, business impact analyses, critical business activity SOPs and activation pathways. She chairs the South Eastern NSW Joint Disaster Management Meeting between the PHN and two local health districts within its region, coordinates the NSW/ACT PHNs Disaster Management Network, and contributes to NSW Health emergency management forums representing Primary Health Networks.
