Revathi N. Krishna is a Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) within Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. A trained mental health professional, her research examines mental health recovery and wellbeing among populations affected by disasters. She has a strong interest in strengthening cross-jurisdictional data sharing related to displacement and health. Her work is applied and policy-relevant. Her impactful research work includes the co-design of surveys and programs focused on resilience to climate-related disasters in resource-constrained settings. Her recent work examines recovery trajectories for people internally displaced by the 2019–2020 bushfires and developing policy recommendations to reduce re-traumatisation in disaster recovery systems.
