Russell Boyce
Managing Director,
SIGNIS
Russell Boyce works at the intersection of deep technology, strategy, and institutional capability - helping organisations shape the right mission, assemble the right coalition, and build the trusted operational pathway that turns an ambitious mandate into real-world impact. Through Signis, his strategic advisory practice, he works as a Strategic Architect, Executive Coach, and Capability Builder for organisations where the challenge is not only technical, but also strategic, organisational, and human. He brings almost four decades of applied experience building and leading high-consequence programs - including Australia's most experienced university space mission team, five Defence satellites, three spin-off companies, and a role in establishing the Australian Space Agency - alongside senior advisory work with government, industry, and global institutions including INSEAD and AIAA. Russell is currently providing strategic architecture and foundational work to support IGNIS, an ECU-led effort to build sovereign bushfire ignition intelligence around end-user need - an example of the cross-sector, evidence-based mission integration approach he brings to ambitious public-purpose challenges.
