AFAC21 POWERED BY INTERSCHUTZ TERMS & CONDITIONS
“Event” shall mean AFAC21 powered by INTERSCHUTZ, including the exhibition, conferences, workshops, Gala Dinner, and associated events which will take place from Tuesday 17 - Friday 20 August 2021, taking place at the International Convention Centre, Sydney, Australia. “Organiser” shall mean AFAC Conference Pty Ltd.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
If the event is rescheduled, relocated or shortened prior to the 9th July, your delegate ticket will automatically be valid for the new time, location or duration.
If in the Organiser’s absolute discretion the Organiser determines that the event cannot be postponed and run within an appropriate future timeframe, or should be cancelled for serious cause, including circumstances not within the Organiser’s reasonable control, the Organiser is entitled to cancel the event. Should this occur the Organiser will transfer your delegate ticket to the following years event, honouring all existing pricing structures and entitlements. The Organiser shall not be liable for any direct or indirect costs borne by the registered Attendees.
In the event of an occurrence of Force Majeure that causes the event to be cancelled, closed, or shortened after the 9th July the Organiser retains the right to utilise all or part of your delegate fee to reimburse contracted suppliers or venue operators for out of pocket expenses incurred in anticipation of the event. The balance will then be transferred towards a place at the following years event, honouring all existing pricing structures and entitlements.
All prices are in Australian Dollars.
Conference and Event Prices
Early Bird discount prices apply for the Event if on-line registration and payment is completed in line with the advertised early bird date.
Registration Payment Terms
Payment of your registration fee and any selected add-ons are due in full at the time of registration or as displayed on your tax invoice. A tax invoice will be emailed to you with confirmation of your registration. All fees are payable prior to commencement of the Event to ensure admission.
Registration Cancellation Policy
Should your circumstances change and you are unable to attend an Event, you must contact AFAC Conference by no later than 9 July 2021. A cancellation fee of $100.00 will apply to cover costs incurred in relation to your registration. Should you cancel after the 9 July 2021, no refund will be payable.
Should you book accommodation via the AFAC21 registration system, a confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address. Please check your accommodation carefully, especially your arrival and departure dates. Should an error have been made, please contact the Organiser via email or phone +61 2 9280 3400 as soon as possible to advise amendments.
Accommodation Deposit Payment Terms
Accommodation deposits are due on completion of your booking. If accommodation deposits are not paid 45 days prior to your arrival date your accommodation booking will be deemed cancelled, unless you have been granted an extension in writing by the Organiser.
Accommodation Cancellation Policy
Accommodation Providers have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact the Organiser as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation.
Access to the exhibition is included in all conference tickets. Exhibition only attendance includes entry to the AFAC21 exhibition and AFAC21 Expo Stage but not the Research Forum, the AFAC21 conference nor the Post Conference Development Sessions.
The Organiser will endeavour to ensure that the published Event program is correct at the time of the actual Event. It may, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, be necessary to alter the program before the Event, and the Organiser reserves the right to do so without notice. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event, in which case full refunds for registrations will be issued to attendees that have paid. The Organiser shall not be liable for any direct or indirect costs borne by the registered attendees. In the event of any occurrence not foreseen in these ‘Terms and Conditions of Participation’, the decision of the Organiser shall be final.
Registration Confirmation of your registration for the Event will be sent to you via email by the Organiser. If applicable, a separate tax invoice will also be sent via e-mail.
Entry to the Event
All visitors acknowledge that they may be photographed or filmed by the Organiser’s official photographer/videographer, and consent to their image being used in promotional material by the Organiser.
The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to the Event to any entity or individual. The Organiser’s receipt of an application and/or payment does not constitute acceptance. Application and payments that are not accepted will be returned.
Permission to use mobile text messaging (SMS)
By providing your mobile number during registration for the Event, you are permitting the Organiser to SMS to your number up to 5 times. Should you wish you unsubscribe, reply “remove” to the SMS.
